Draw Rules

Version: draw-rules-1.0 (effective 17 September 2026)
Language: English. A French version (Règlement officiel) is published at ardor.fitness/draw-rules-fr and has equal force for residents of Quebec and France.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO EARN ENTRIES OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ENTRIES CANNOT BE BOUGHT. PRIZES ARE NEVER CASH. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE ELIGIBLE REGIONS LISTED IN APPENDIX A WHO HAVE REACHED THE AGE OF MAJORITY WHERE THEY LIVE.

By tapping to accept these Official Rules in the Ardor app, or by continuing to participate in the Ardor Monthly Draw after being shown them, you agree to be bound by these Rules and by the decisions of Ardor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Draw, subject to applicable law.

1. Sponsor and promoter

The Ardor Monthly Draw (the “Draw”) is sponsored and promoted solely by Arduous Inc., doing business as Ardor, a corporation incorporated under the laws of Canada, PO Box 534, Squamish, British Columbia V0N 1H0, Canada (“Ardor”, “we”, “us”). Ardor is the only sponsor and the only promoter of the Draw.

Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in any manner in, this promotion. Google LLC is likewise not a sponsor of, and is not involved in any manner in, this promotion.

Featured athletes, brands and other third parties may provide prizes for a given contest. Where a prize is provided by a third party, the in-app prize disclosure will say “Provided by [name]”. A prize provider is not a sponsor, promoter or administrator of the Draw and has no role in its conduct.

Questions and complaints: support@ardor.fitness. See section 15 for the complaints procedure.

2. What the Draw is

2.1 An ongoing program of monthly contests. The Draw is an ongoing program. Each calendar month is a separate contest with its own contest period, its own pool of entries, its own prize and its own winner (each a “Contest”). Accepting these Rules enters you in the current Contest and, subject to section 5.3, each later Contest while these Rules remain in force.

2.2 Entries. Members earn “Entries” through free in-app actions described in section 6. Each Entry recorded in a Contest is one chance in that Contest’s random draw. Entries have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, gifted, transferred, traded or redeemed, and are not property.

2.3 Prizes. Each Contest offers one prize, which is never cash. Prizes are disclosed in the app under section 9.

2.4 Definitions. “Eligible Region” means a country or region listed in Appendix A. “Contest Period” is defined in section 3. “Prize Schedule” means Appendix B. “In-App Prize Disclosure” means the prize description, approximate retail value and provider shown in the app’s Draw screen for a Contest. “Featured Athlete” means the athlete named in the app for a Contest. “Winner Declaration & Release” means the separate document at ardor.fitness/winner-release.

3. Contest periods and timing

3.1 Advertised close. Each Contest closes at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (America/Vancouver) on the last calendar day of the month (the “Advertised Close”). The app displays the Advertised Close in your local time, and Appendix B lists the Advertised Close date for each scheduled Contest.

3.2 Actual close and immediate reopening. Shortly after the Advertised Close, Ardor seals the Contest’s pool of Entries and executes the draw (the “Execution Moment”). The next Contest opens at the Execution Moment, with no gap. A Contest’s “Contest Period” runs from the Execution Moment of the previous Contest to its own Execution Moment.

3.3 Server receipt governs. An Entry belongs to whichever Contest is open at the moment Ardor’s servers receive it. Entries are never recorded offline. If you complete a qualifying action while your device is offline, the Entry is recorded when the device next syncs, and it counts toward the Contest open at that time. Actions received after a Contest’s Execution Moment count toward the next Contest. There is no cure or backdating for late-synced actions.

3.4 Same-day sync for training Entries. A training-based Entry (section 6.1(a)) is only earned if the workout syncs to Ardor’s servers on the same local calendar day the workout was completed. Ardor recommends syncing before the end of your day.

3.5 First Contests under these Rules. The first Contest under version 1.0 of these Rules is the September 2026 Contest, a short introductory Contest that opens when the Draw first becomes available in the app (the “Launch Date”, recorded in Appendix C) and closes at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on 30 September 2026. Its prize is a one-year Ardor subscription (Appendix B). The October 2026 Contest, the first with a gift-card prize, opens at the September Contest’s Execution Moment.

4. Eligibility

4.1 Who may participate. The Draw is open to natural persons who, at the time of each Entry and at the Execution Moment: (a) have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence; (b) are legal residents of an Eligible Region listed in Appendix A; and (c) hold an Ardor account in good standing. A free Ardor account is sufficient.

4.2 Residence declaration. At first acceptance you declare your country and, where applicable, state, province or region of residence. Ardor pre-fills this from your device settings and you confirm it. Each Entry is recorded against your declared jurisdiction. Ardor may use device, storefront and network signals to corroborate a declaration if a dispute arises, and may void Entries and disqualify an account where a declaration is false.

4.3 Not eligible. Residents of any country or region not listed in Appendix A, of Puerto Rico and other United States territories, and of any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by Canada or the United States, are not eligible. Where local law prohibits or restricts the Draw, the Draw is void in that place.

4.4 Excluded participants: may take part, cannot win. The following persons may earn and see Entries and take part in every in-app Draw feature, but their Entries are removed from the pool before every draw and they are not eligible to win: (a) directors, officers, employees and contractors of Ardor; (b) members of their immediate family (spouse or partner, parents, children, siblings) and anyone living in the same household; (c) Featured Athletes, Ardor-sponsored or partnered athletes and creators, and prize providers, together with their employees and immediate families; and (d) accounts flagged by Ardor as internal test accounts. This exclusion is disclosed in the app.

4.5 Win cooldown. A person who wins a Contest is not eligible to win again in any of the twelve (12) Contests that follow. During that time the person may continue to earn Entries, those Entries carry over under section 7, and the person may take part in every Draw feature, but their Entries are removed from the pool before each draw. This is a fact that affects your chances of winning and is disclosed for that reason.

4.6 One person, one account. You may participate through one Ardor account only. Entries earned through duplicate, shared or automated accounts may be voided and the accounts disqualified.

5. How to enter, and continuing participation

5.1 First entry. You enter the Draw the first time you tap to accept these Rules in the app, which includes your declaration of age and residence under section 4. No Entries can be earned before acceptance.

5.2 Automatic entry in later Contests. While these Rules remain in force at the version you accepted, you are automatically entered in each later Contest the first time you open the app during that Contest Period. Ardor records an acceptance for each Contest. You do not need to tap again unless section 5.3 applies.

5.3 Re-acceptance on material change. If Ardor changes these Rules in a way that materially affects your rights, the prizes, the ways to earn Entries, the odds, or the Eligible Regions, the version number in the heading of these Rules changes and the app will ask you to accept the new version before you can continue in the Draw. Until you accept, no new Entries are recorded for you.

5.4 Withdrawing. You may withdraw from the current Contest at any time by emailing support@ardor.fitness from your account email, or by deleting your Ardor account (see section 12). Withdrawal forfeits your Entries in that Contest.

6. Earning Entries

6.1 Entry-earning actions. Entries are earned only through the following free in-app actions. Every action is available to free-tier members without payment. Paying for a subscription does not earn Entries and does not increase the number of Entries any action earns.

Action Entries Limit
(a) Complete your first logged workout of the day (warm-ups do not count) 5 Once per local calendar day; must sync the same day (section 3.4)
(b) Complete the Contest’s Featured Athlete workout 25 Once per Contest
(c) Share a completed workout from the app 5 Once per workout, ever; at most once per local calendar day
(d) A friend you referred becomes a paying Ardor subscriber 100 No cap
(e) Another member completes a workout you host 1 per unique member One Entry per member who completes it
(f) Complete account setup 10 Once per account, ever

The per-action limits above are also shown in the app’s information sheets. Ardor may add or remove actions or change values only by a new version of these Rules under section 14; a change never reduces Entries already recorded in an open Contest.

6.2 Subscriptions and purchases do not earn Entries. No in-app purchase, subscription, or other payment to Ardor or anyone else produces an Entry or improves your odds. Referral Entries under 6.1(d) are earned by the referring member for the referred friend’s action; the referring member pays nothing.

6.3 Legacy grant (one time, existing accounts). An account created before the Launch Date (Appendix C) receives, at the moment of its first acceptance of these Rules, a one-time grant of between 0 and 50 Entries. The number is computed from the account’s longest historical daily-training streak recorded in Ardor as of first acceptance, on a scale that reaches the 50-Entry cap at a 500-day streak. The grant is placed in the Contest open at first acceptance and carries over under section 7 like any other Entry. This retroactive credit is disclosed here because it affects the odds in the Contests where it applies. Accounts created on or after the Launch Date do not receive a grant.

6.4 Recording. Entries are recorded on Ardor’s servers with a timestamp and your declared jurisdiction. The app’s Entry count is a display of the server record; the server record governs.

7. Carryover of Entries between Contests

7.1 After each draw, one third (rounded down) of a non-winning participant’s Entries from the closed Contest carry into the next Contest (“Carryover”), provided that the participant opens the app at least once during the next Contest Period. Carryover is credited at that first app-open. If the participant does not open the app during the next Contest Period, the Carryover lapses at that Contest’s Execution Moment and does not carry further.

7.2 The winner of a Contest receives no Carryover from that Contest.

7.3 Carryover is itself eligible for Carryover in later months. Because each month carries one third of the previous balance, a participant’s Carryover converges to at most about one half of what they earn in a typical month, so no participant accumulates an unbounded advantage. This is disclosed because it affects the odds.

8. Draw, odds and redraw

8.1 One winner per Contest. At the Execution Moment, Ardor seals the Contest’s pool: every Entry recorded during the Contest Period plus credited Carryover, minus the Entries of persons excluded under sections 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5 and any Entries voided under section 11. The seal is recorded with a cryptographic fingerprint. One Entry is then selected at random using a cryptographically secure random number generator whose seed is recorded with the seal. The person holding the selected Entry is the provisional winner.

8.2 Odds. Every Entry in the sealed pool has an equal chance of selection. Your odds of winning a Contest equal your Entries in the sealed pool divided by the total Entries in the sealed pool. Ardor does not predict or guarantee any odds; they depend on how many Entries all eligible participants hold.

8.3 Result is fixed at execution. The outcome is determined at the Execution Moment and recorded. Any countdown, reveal or animation shown in the app afterwards is presentational only and does not affect the result.

8.4 Redraw. If the provisional winner does not complete the steps in section 9 within the deadline, fails the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or is found ineligible, Ardor selects a new provisional winner from the same sealed pool (excluding any previously selected Entry holder) and records the redraw. Ardor will continue to redraw until the prize is awarded or the sealed pool has no eligible Entries remaining.

9. Winner notification, skill-testing question and acceptance

9.1 Notification. The provisional winner is notified in the app, and by email where an address is on file, promptly after the Execution Moment.

9.2 Deadline. The provisional winner must complete all of the following within seven (7) days of the notification being issued: (a) correctly answer the skill-testing question in 9.3; (b) confirm a contact email address; (c) agree to the Winner Declaration & Release; and (d) tap to accept the prize. Ardor sends reminders approximately three days and one day before the deadline. Failure to complete all steps in time results in disqualification and a redraw under section 8.4.

9.3 Skill-testing question. Before any prize is awarded, the provisional winner must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question generated by Ardor’s servers. The winner has three (3) attempts. Three incorrect answers result in disqualification and a redraw. This requirement applies to every winner in every Eligible Region.

9.4 Verification. Ardor may require reasonable proof of identity, age and residence before delivering a prize, and may require a signed declaration where the law of the winner’s jurisdiction requires one. Ardor may withhold a prize while verification is pending and disqualify a winner whose declaration under section 4 proves false.

9.5 Delivery. Ardor delivers prizes to the confirmed email address (digital prizes) or arranges delivery or scheduling (physical prizes and experiences) within thirty (30) days of acceptance, except where an experience prize depends on a third party’s availability, in which case Ardor will confirm a date within thirty (30) days and the experience will take place within a reasonable time thereafter. Appendix B states, for each scheduled Contest, the date by which its prize will be awarded.

10. Prizes

10.1 What each Contest offers. Each Contest offers one prize. The prize for the current Contest, its approximate retail value in US dollars, and its provider (if any) are shown in the app’s Draw screen throughout the Contest Period (the “In-App Prize Disclosure”). The In-App Prize Disclosure forms part of these Rules for that Contest and is fixed at the moment the Contest opens.

10.2 Prize Schedule. Appendix B lists the approximate retail value of the prize scheduled for each upcoming Contest. Ardor publishes the Schedule so that participants can see the value of prizes planned across the coming months. The Schedule is a schedule of separate Contests, each with its own prize. It is not a single prize pool, and no person can win more than one Contest in any twelve-month span (section 4.5). Values in Appendix B are approximate and may be replaced by a new version of these Rules for Contests that have not yet opened; the value of an open Contest’s prize is never reduced.

10.3 Nature of prizes. Prizes are gift cards or vouchers, Ardor subscription time, products, and experiences (for example, a one-to-one video session with a Featured Athlete). No prize is ever cash, and no cash substitution is available, except that Ardor may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize of equal or greater value where the stated prize becomes unavailable, or where required by law.

10.4 Prize conditions. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be sold. Gift cards and vouchers are subject to the issuer’s terms, expiry and regional restrictions; Ardor will choose an issuer usable in the winner’s region. Subscription prizes are applied to the winner’s own Ardor account and have no cash value. Experience prizes are subject to the availability of the Featured Athlete or provider, must be scheduled in good faith by both sides, and are forfeited if the winner does not attend a scheduled session without reasonable notice. Any costs not expressly included in the prize description (including internet access, equipment and, for any in-person element, travel) are the winner’s responsibility.

10.5 Taxes. Prizes are delivered gross. Any income, gift or other tax or levy arising from receipt of a prize is the responsibility of the winner, except where the law of the winner’s jurisdiction places that obligation on Ardor, in which case Ardor will comply.

10.6 Prize providers. Where a prize is provided by a third party, the provider’s only role is to supply the prize. The provider does not select winners, hold Entry data or administer any part of the Draw.

11. Entry integrity and disqualification

11.1 Ardor may void Entries and disqualify any account, before or after a draw, that Ardor reasonably determines has: earned Entries through fraud, deception, automation, scripting, emulation, manipulation of device time or location, fabricated workout data, multiple or shared accounts, false residence or age declarations, or any breach of these Rules or Ardor’s Terms of Service. A disqualified account forfeits all Entries and any prize not yet delivered.

11.2 Ardor reverses individual Entries only before the Contest’s pool is sealed. Once sealed, a pool is not altered and a draw is not re-run; ineligible Entry holders are handled by redraw under section 8.4.

11.3 Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Draw may be a breach of criminal and civil law. Ardor reserves the right to seek remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Privacy and contest records

12.1 Ardor processes your personal information to run the Draw: your declared jurisdiction, your Entry ledger, your acceptance records, and, if you are a winner, the information in section 9. Ardor is the controller of this information. Ardor’s Privacy Policy at ardor.fitness/privacy-policy applies and explains your rights, including under Canada’s PIPEDA and British Columbia’s PIPA, the EU and UK GDPR, and the privacy laws of the other Eligible Regions.

12.2 Sealed contest records. At each Execution Moment Ardor creates a sealed record of the Contest’s pool containing pseudonymous account identifiers, Entry counts and declared jurisdictions, together with the draw execution record. These records contain no names or contact details. Ardor retains them as contest records for as long as required to demonstrate the integrity of the Draw and to meet legal obligations.

12.3 Account deletion. Deleting your Ardor account withdraws you from the current Contest and deletes your Entry ledger and acceptance records. Sealed records of Contests that have already closed are retained in pseudonymous form and cannot be linked back to you after deletion.

12.4 Winners’ information. Section 13 describes what is published about winners. Ardor will not share a winner’s identity with a prize provider beyond what is necessary to deliver the prize.

13. Publicity and the public winners record

13.1 Consent-based only. At prize acceptance, a winner may choose whether to be publicly named. Consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving the prize.

13.2 If you consent, Ardor may publish your first name and your region (for example, “Alex, British Columbia”) together with the Contest and prize, in the app, on ardor.fitness and in Ardor’s social channels, without further compensation, for the purpose of announcing the result and promoting the Draw. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@ardor.fitness, after which Ardor will remove your name from future publications within a reasonable time.

13.3 If you decline, the public winners record shows only the Contest, the prize and an anonymised description (for example, “October 2026: a member in Vancouver”).

13.4 Winner information on request. Where the law of an Eligible Region requires that winner details be made available (for example, the United Kingdom’s CAP Code or United States state law), Ardor will, on written request to support@ardor.fitness within sixty (60) days after a Contest’s Execution Moment, confirm the region of the winner and, where the winner has consented, their first name and, where required by law, surname. Winners may object to the disclosure of their surname by notifying Ardor, and Ardor will honour that objection to the extent the law allows.

14. Changes, versions, suspension and ending the Draw

14.1 Living document. These Rules are published at ardor.fitness/draw-rules and shown in the app. The version string in the heading identifies the Rules in force. Ardor records the version each participant accepted.

14.2 Non-material changes (corrections of typographical errors, clarifications that do not change any right, addition of an Eligible Region, or updates to Appendix B for Contests not yet opened) are published under the same major version with an updated minor number and effective date (for example, 1.1). They take effect for Contests opening after publication. You are not asked to re-accept.

14.3 Material changes are published as a new major version (for example, 2.0) and take effect only for Contests opening after publication. The app will ask you to accept the new version under section 5.3. No change applies to a Contest already open, except where required by law or to correct a manifest error, and no change reduces the value of an open Contest’s prize or the Entries already recorded in it.

14.4 Suspension or termination. Ardor may suspend or end the Draw, or exclude a region from future Contests, where the law changes, a regulator requires it, or the integrity of the Draw is compromised. Any Contest already open will be completed and its prize awarded unless completing it would be unlawful, in which case Ardor will award the prize in the affected region by an alternative lawful method or, where none exists, refund nothing because nothing was paid.

15. Complaints

Complaints about the Draw may be sent to support@ardor.fitness with the subject line “Draw complaint”. Ardor acknowledges complaints within five (5) business days and responds substantively within thirty (30) days. Residents of the Netherlands who are not satisfied with Ardor’s response may refer the matter to the Kansspelautoriteit. Nothing in this section limits your right to contact a consumer protection authority in your country of residence.

16. Liability

16.1 To the extent permitted by the law of your place of residence, Ardor, its directors, officers, employees and contractors, prize providers, and Featured Athletes are not liable for: technical failures, network or device problems, delayed or failed sync, lost or late Entries, or errors in the app’s display of Entry counts; unavailability of a prize provider or athlete beyond Ardor’s reasonable control; or any loss or injury arising from acceptance or use of a prize, including participation in any physical activity connected with an experience prize, except where caused by Ardor’s negligence or wilful misconduct.

16.2 Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits any liability, right or remedy that cannot be excluded or limited under the consumer protection law of your place of residence, including under the Australian Consumer Law, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the EU Consumer Rights Directive as implemented locally, or Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.

17. Governing law and disputes

17.1 These Rules and each Contest are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction, except that if you reside outside Canada you also retain the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence where that law so provides.

17.2 If any provision of these Rules is held invalid in a jurisdiction, it is severed for that jurisdiction only and the remainder continues in force.

17.3 In the event of any inconsistency between these Rules and any other description of the Draw (including in-app copy, marketing or social posts), these Rules and the In-App Prize Disclosure govern. In the event of any inconsistency between the English and French versions of these Rules, the version in the language required by law in the participant’s place of residence governs; otherwise the English version governs.

18. Region-specific terms

The following apply to residents of the regions named, in addition to everything above.

Canada. The skill-testing question in section 9.3 is a condition of winning. Disclosure of the number and approximate value of prizes, the regional allocation (one prize per Contest, open to all Eligible Regions without regional allocation), the chances of winning (section 8.2) and the facts affecting the chances of winning (sections 4.4, 4.5, 6.3 and 7) is made in accordance with the Competition Act. Quebec residents: the French version of these Rules and of the Winner Declaration & Release is available in the app and at ardor.fitness/draw-rules-fr.

United States. Open to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia. Void in Puerto Rico, all other United States territories and possessions, and where prohibited or restricted by law. No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Each monthly Contest is a separate promotion with a total prize value not exceeding US$2,000. For the name of a Contest’s winner (subject to section 13), send a request to support@ardor.fitness within sixty (60) days after that Contest’s Execution Moment.

United Kingdom. Promoter: Arduous Inc., PO Box 534, Squamish, British Columbia V0N 1H0, Canada. Entry is free. Each Contest’s closing time is 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on the last day of the month, which is 6:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. UK time depending on daylight saving; the app shows the closing time in UK time. Winners are selected at random by computer. Winners’ first names and counties (or regions) are available on request under section 13.4; winners may object to publication. These Rules and the Draw comply with the CAP Code, section 8.

Netherlands. This Draw is a promotional game of chance (promotioneel kansspel) organised in accordance with the Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen. It promotes the Ardor app and Ardor’s subscription service. Participation is free; no communication costs are charged. The total value of prizes scheduled for the Contests listed in Appendix B is stated there and will not exceed EUR 100,000 in any calendar year. No more than twenty draws are held per calendar year. Participants must be 18 or older. All prizes offered will be awarded. The complaints procedure is in section 15.

Australia. Each monthly Contest is a separate promotion with a total prize pool not exceeding AUD equivalent of US$2,000. No permit is required at this prize level in any State or Territory. Where required, the terms of this promotion are lodged with the Western Australian gaming regulator.

France. Ce jeu est un jeu gratuit sans obligation d’achat au sens des articles L.121-36 et suivants du Code de la consommation. Le règlement en français est disponible gratuitement sur ardor.fitness/draw-rules-fr et dans l’application.

Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, New Zealand. Participation is free of charge. No stake, purchase or payment of any kind is required or accepted. Each Contest closes at the time in section 3.1, which the app displays in your local time.
