Every single exercise has a relationship and Ardor has a prediction of how much you can lift, how fast you can move, and what your pace slowdown is like over time. It even factors changes to your split times, how different lengths of interval rests plays a factor, and how different combinations of exercises and workout structures will affect your total time.

    With each workout, the predictions of each individual exercise get more refined so it starts to learn what’s slowing you down. Muscular stamina? Aerobic capacity? Power output? Bodyweight movements? Skill based things?

    The more workouts you do, the more Ardor learns about you.

Everything is Related

Every exercise has a relationship. Ardor makes a guess of what weight or reps are appropriate for you based on what you do in other workouts. Over time, each exercise gets more individualized and breaks away from the initial relationship.

Method-ology

For those who have experience in CrossFit®, Ardor will be familiar. Conditioning based workouts are constantly varied, use functional based movements, and are done at a high intensity.

  • Conditioning workouts follow the MGW model where workouts will rotate between being balanced, monostructural/cardio, gymnastics/bodyweight, and weightlifting based.

    For workouts that include a weight, weights will be programmed between 45-65% of your one rep max, depending on how strong and conditioned you are.

  • When you have both a strength and conditioning component to your day, it will often include 1-2 strength movements, and a metcon then after.

    Ardor also programs more traditional and progressional based strength programming so you can add in a powerlifting, olympic weightlifting, gymnastics/calisthenics, bodybuilding routine into your program if you want to.
