The Team

Jordan Lund

Previously at a big tech company, Jordan led a machine learning team to improve the release pipeline of their main product. His team was responsible for predicting when a new release would finish building based on past builds and predict when one test failed, what other tests would likely fail next. He took this experience and then applied it to personal training. To compare past workout performances and predict what someone was capable of doing doing next.

For those in life who want a personally made challenge to aim for in each workout and want to enjoy the process more than the result itself, Jordan made Ardor for you.

Patrick Vellner

Health and fitness touches all parts of Pat’s life. He grew up heavily involved in Gymnastics and Lacrosse before he started competing in CrossFit where he had stood on the podium 5 times at the CrossFit Games.

Along the way he began a career as a doctor of chiropractic so that he could help others maintain their health and keep moving towards their own goals.

Pat believes that fitness is the magic bullet when it comes to increasing health span in the masses. He was drawn to the Ardor project by the amazing potential to reduce the barrier of entry for individuals to get personal training and its ability to use machine learning to personalize training like never before to a person’s lifestyle and goals.

Pat brings a wealth of knowledge that comes from decades of training, academics and clinical experience to the Ardor team. He’s behind the scenes stress testing and training your AI trainer to be the best it can be.
